Chris VanBuskirk has played the piano, sang, and studied music since she was four years old. Loving music as she does, she decided to teach, both publicly and privately, sharing this wonderful gift with anyone who wants to learn. Besides teaching piano, she also teaches choral music to children and adults, having had choir and ensembles from 6 to 100+ voices. She taught public school in Washington, Montana and Alaska, having had award winning A Capella Choirs over the years. Chris love playing the piano, in worship, accompanying soloists, choirs, and piano performance in the community. She also has a very successful private music studio, having taught for the past 45+ years. In the fall, all her students have the opportunity to perform in a Piano Trio, with a professional Cellist and Violinist, either in a costume or formal setting. In the spring, students can perform in a formal setting, on stage with a String or Full Orchestra. They have really done well and look forward to these events every year. Chris really enjoys kids and adults of all ages, so with her love and strong passion of music, those are a perfect combination and a great fit for her life’s work. Come join the adventure at Classic Keys Music Studio.
