The Tacoma Music Teachers Association was founded in 1945 and is a chapter of the Washington State Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association. We are a friendly group of local teachers, united for three main purposes:

• To provide challenging performance opportunities to enable our students’ success
• To provide continuing education for our teachers’ success
• To provide beautiful music for our community
