Senior Scholarship Award
Every graduating High School Senior could be awarded a Senior Award in the amount of $100.00, if they have met the following criteria:
1. Applicants must have studied music with a current active member of the Chapter for at least four (4) years for piano, three (3) years for voice, and also be recommended by that teacher.
2. Applicants must have participated in the WSMTA – Music Artistry Program (MAP) during all their high school years, 9th-12th grades.
3. Students are required to have performed in at least one (1) of the following suggested outside events:
(*For credit, student must turn in a Concert Program or Church Bulletin, showing their name as a solo performer.)
Chapter Teachers need to turn in forms and essays for their qualifying seniors to the Treasurer no later than April 25th.
Teachers will receive their qualified Senior Award check(s) in early May. All senior scholarship awards will be presented to the student by their teacher as they have fulfilled all the qualifying requirements.

- Honors Recital
- Piano Trio Recitals – Tacoma Music Collaborative
- Orchestral Recitals – Tacoma Music Collaborative
- As a soloist in a Public Performance.
- Church
- School
- Public Concert
